Uncharted 4 Release Date Revealed

Huge News! Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be released on March 18th 2016. Additionally, two limited physical versions of the game were revealed.

Uncharted 4 Trailer Released

Sony released the Uncharted 4 Trailer yesterday. The official title was unveiled to be "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Sounds ominous. See Nathan Drake washed up on a strange beach below:

In addition, we finally have an answer to the question, "when will uncharted 4 be released?" Well, sort of. Not an exact release date yet but we do know that Uncharted 4 will hit PS4 sometime in 2014. If I had to guess I would say the November timeframe as that's when the previous game came out.

The Last of Us is Uncharted 4

Despite fan’s wishes and predictions the Uncharted 4 release date has still not been announced (or confirmed that there even is an Uncharted 4 in development). I have my own theory: The Last of Us IS Uncharted 4. If you’ve played the zombie apocalypse game then you’ll know what I’m talking about. The Last of Us was created by Naughty Dog, the developer of the Uncharted series and it shows. The Last of Us actually is an Uncharted game, just with slighty different characters. The graphics are the same quality. The motion controls, mechanics, and character movement are exactly the same. The guns you can obtain are straight out of Uncharted. Heck, they even lifted the horse riding experience straight out of Uncharted 3 and stuck it in The Last of Us. Instead of searching for treasures you are looking for documents, pendants, manuals, supplies, and ammo.

 

I’m not saying this is a bad thing - quite the contrary! If you’re going to copy another game you might as well copy from the best. In fact, I would rate the Last of Us as being better than Uncharted 3. The Last of Us takes the Uncharted experience and improves upon it! The biggest difference is in the Last of Us you have to put more thought into how you’re going to take the bad guys out due to your limited ammo - you can’t just run and gun like you can in the Uncharted series.

Playstation 4 Unveiled: No word on Uncharted 4

Sony officially announced Playstation 4 today as expected. However, no word was given on Uncharted 4, whether it is in development or if it will be for PS3 or PS4. More information as we get it...

Uncharted 4 Clues Adding Up

We still don’t know the Uncharted 4 release date because Naughty Dog has not officially announced the game yet. In fact, the burning questions from fans is: “is there going to be an Uncharted 4?” Well, we may have finally gotten a good hint at an answer. Graham McTavish, the voice actor for Charlie Cutter in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, recently Tweeted about starting work on a new gaming project that he said is going to be “rather good.”

It’s small but the Uncharted 4 clues could begin to be adding up. We do know the developer has expanded into two teams, one working on The Last of Us and the other on an unknown project that very well could be Uncharted 4.

If there is an Uncharted 4 many fans would like to see it as the flagship game for Playstation 4 (PS4). Either way, I personally can’t wait until we get our first glimpse of an Uncharted 4 trailer.

What is Uncharted: Fight for Fortune?

No new news on the upcoming Uncharted 4 release date just yet, but there is, however, a new game in the Uncharted world currently being worked on. Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is an upcoming casino/cards-based game for Vita (and maybe for PS3 as well). Not much is know about the project at this time other than the title and the developer is One Loop Games.while Sony Computer Entertainment is the publisher. Naughty Dog is the developer for the past Uncharted games so this is definitely not Uncharted 4. The details are sketchy at best but I’m thinking this casino/card game could also be similar to Metal Gear Ac!d, a turn-based strategic battle card style game. Many fans were hoping that if the series went off in a different direction it would be a Mario Kart style racing game (UnKarted, if you will).
